The CWE PO/MT-VIII notification has been released to recruit eligible candidates for IBPS PO Post. the Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the official notification to recruit candidates for Probationary Officers (PO) and Management Trainee (MT) Posts in various Participating Banks. This year, total 4252 vacancies are released by the IBPS department for PO and MT Post. Last Year total 3562 vacancies was released. IBPS PO 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Here we have mentioned IBPS PO 2018 Education Qualification, whereby candidates can easily identify that they can fill IBPS PO Application Form 2018 or not.

Education Qualification: – To fill the application form of IBPS PO Recruitment 2018, candidates must have passed a graduation OR have an equivalent degree of Graduation (in any discipline) from the recognized University of the Indian government. Apart from this, any equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Central Government.

Nationality / Citizenship:

A candidate must be either –

(i) a Citizen of India or

(ii) a subject of Nepal or

(iii) a subject of Bhutan or

(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Note: Candidates must have done graduation with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD). The aspirants must have a valid mark sheet of their graduation certificate/equivalent qualification certificate.

IBPS PO 2018 Age Limit

All the candidates, who are eligible and want to apply for IBPS PO Exam 2018, their age should not be less than 20 years and not more than 30 years. Candidates born between 2nd Aug 1988 to 1st Aug 1998 (inclusive both dates) may apply for the recruitment.

Age relaxation for IBPS PO examination is applicable as per the government rules:-

IBPS PO 2018 Application Form

To apply for IBPS PO 2018 Exam, candidates must have to check the eligibility, whether they are eligible or not. The candidates can apply online to fill IBPS PO 2018 Application Form from 14th August. The candidates must have to apply on or before the last date because after deadline no one will be allowed to fill IBPS PO Application Form 2018. IBPS PO 2018 Online Registration is an online process, so candidates will have to complete it via online mode. How to Fill IBPS PO Application Form 2018?

  • Go to the official Website of IBPS  – www.ibps.in/
  • Click on the Home Page to open the link “CWE PO/MT”
  • Click on the option “Click Here to Apply Online for CWE Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees (CWE-PO/MT-VIII)” to open the On-Line Application Form
  • Click on “Click Here for New Registration” to register for filling the online form
  • Provisional registration number and password will be generated
  • An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
  • Already registered candidates no need to register again they can directly login with Registration Number and Password
  • Fill all the required details with Name, Date, Gender, etc
  • Upload the photograph and signature
  • Attach copy of needed documents (If Require)
  • Pay the Required fees

Note: Before submitting the IBPS PO online application, applicants are advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the information in the online IBPS PO 2018 Application Form as well as modify the same if needed. No change will be permitted, after clicking on FINAL SUBMIT Button.

IBPS PO 2018 Application Fee

Candidates will have to pay intimation charges or application fee of IBPS PO Exam via Online mode only. SC/ST/PWD candidates will have to pay at Rs. 100 and other candidates will have to pay Rs. 600/-.

IBPS PO 2018 Exam Pattern

IBPS has decided to extend the previous year strategy to hire the candidates by Two-Phase Written examination, followed by an interview. Here we have given IBPS PO 2018 Exam Pattern in a Tabular format for the candidate’s help. We recommended candidates to follow the given IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2018 to score well in the examination.

IBPS PO 2018 Prelims Exam Pattern: –  Prelims exam is the 1st stage for candidates, which conducts online. The IBPS PO Prelims exam consists three sections – English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. The total 100 questions will be asked in the exam and each question will carry 1 mark. The 1/4 mark will be deducted as negative marking for each wrong answer. The examination authority will allow 1 hour to solve 100 questions.

IBPS PO 2018 Mains Exam Pattern: Mains exam is the 2nd stage for candidates, which will be conducted online. The IBPS PO Mains exam consists five sections – English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge. Total 200 questions will be asked in the exam and each question will carry 1 mark. The 1/4 mark will be deducted as negative marking for each wrong answer. The examination authority will allow 140 Minutes to solve 200 questions.

IBPS PO 2018 Syllabus

REASONING: Alphabetical test, coding decoding, analogy, classification, direction sense, Blood relation, word formation, sitting arrangement, syllogisms, inequalities, Statement and conclusion, statement and assumption, statement and course of action, statement and argument, input and output, Puzzles, Data Sufficiency.

APTITUDE: Permutations And Combinations, Probability, Time And Work, {Distance, time and speed}, Boats and Streams, Average, Ratio, Partnership, Mensuration, Simplification, Series, Simple and –Compound interest, Pipes and cisterns, Trains, Percentage, Mixture, LCM-HCF, Profit and Loss, problems on Ages.

ENGLISH: Cloze Test, Errors in sentences, Passage Comprehension, Sentence Improvement, Selecting The Correct Sentences.

GA: Current Affairs of last 6 months, Indian Economy Questions, Marketing, Awards & Honors Sports, Finance, Agriculture  History of Banking, Banking Terms, RBI Functions, Fiscal-Monetary Policies etc.

IBPS PO 2018 Selection Process

The IBPS PO 2018 Selection Procedure is based on the Three Phases examination. First of all, candidates will have to clear in IBPS PO prelims examination. Only those candidates will be shortlisted for Mains examination who will clear Prelims exam with minimum qualifying scores. After Prelims, candidates will have to clear IBPS PO Mains examination otherwise, they will not be selected for Final Interview Round.

  • Online Preliminary Examination: Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks (sectional as well as overall) to be decided by IBPS. Candidate’s adequate number in each category will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination (depends on the requirements).
  • Online Mains Examination: Candidates qualifying the cutoff (sectional as well as overall) will be called for interview.
  • Interview: IBPS PO Interview will be scheduled via Participating Organizations as well as coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. The final selection list of the candidates will be released after the successful completion of an interview round.

IBPS PO Admit Card 2018

Applicants who will successfully submit the application form will be able to download IBPS PO Prelims Call Letter 2018 from the official website. The Preliminary examination is set to be held on 13th, 14th, 20th, and 21st October and candidates will be able to download IBPS PO Prelims Admit Card 2018 from last week of September 2018. Admit Card will be released on the official website. IBPS PO Cut off 2018

The IBPS PO Cut-Off marks are the minimum marks which are required for qualifying the Probationary Officer examination. IBPS PO 2018 Cut off marks will be released after the result declaration, candidates will be able to check from here after the release. This cut-off marks will be depended on the level of exam, the difficulty level, the number of vacancies, and a number of candidates appeared for the examination.
